A major player in the information society, the mission of the Télécom Group is higher education, research and innovation, in the field of Information and Communication Technology.

The Télécom Group is made up of Grandes Écoles for engineers and management:

• Telecom ParisTech , located in Paris
• Telecom Bretagne, located in Brest and Rennes
• Telecom SudParis and Telecom Ecole de Management, located in Evry

In addition to these bodies are the subsidiary establishments created together with universities and businesses:

• Telecom Lille1, created in 1990 with the Université des Sciences et Technologies de Lille 1, in Villeneuve d'Ascq
• EURECOM, created in 1991 with the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Sophia Antipolis
