“Information Theory: New Frontiers” Symposium
This symposium is organized by the Institut Henri Poincaré with support from IMT, as part of the hundredth anniversary of the birth of Claude Shannon, the father of Information and Communication Theory. The importance of information theory in telecommunications as well as its increasing influence in other branches of science (mathematics, physics, genetics, neurosciences…) will be explored through a series of thirteen lectures given by leading scientists in their fields.
